Days like this

I don’t know why. But for me, independence has always been so important. I don’t know if it is “the good girl” lurking around the corner or what.

I do think independence IS important, especially for women as around them it can’t be taken for granted. So when weekends like this one comes along and fever strikes hard, cold and unmerciful on a Friday night. When it drills into your bones and you crumble under it. You are thankful for them.

For the friends.

Who brings your children home while the Mr has to work and when standing up is nothing less of the challenge climbing Mt. Everest.

Days like this you are strong when you pick up the phone and ask for help and you don’t think twice when help is handed to you. And I realize you just do it and you are no less of an independent person.

Thank you.
